Designed for mobile journalism, vlogging, and live streaming, the Saramonic LavMicro-S is a compact lavalier microphone that lets you record clear and accurate speech in stereo directly to your DSLR/mirrorless camera, audio recorder, iPhone/Android smartphone, or tablet.
The LavMicro-S features two discreet omnidirectional capsules configured to create a stereo pickup pattern. This stereo pattern lets you capture the sound of your voice as well as some of the ambience, adding character and “sense of place” to your recordings.
The 16.5′ built-in cable provides plenty of length for standing at an optimal distance in front of your camera. It is equipped with a 3.5mm TRS/TRRS combo output connector and a power module (with battery included) allowing you to use the LavMicro-S with cameras and devices that do not provide power to the microphone. A 3.5mm to 1/4″ adapter is also included to plug into cameras like the Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera.
The included alligator-style mic clip holds the LavMicro-S firmly in place and the foam windscreen helps reduce unwanted wind noise. Two reusable cable ties to keep the lengthy cable tidy.
