The CL120R is a great choice when you require full RGB features in a lightweight, modular, and stackable design. An easy-to-read LCD screen offers local physical control when the fixture is in close proximity, and wireless options include the COLBOR Studio app for quick and convenient adjustments.
Ultrabright 120W COB Video Light
The CL120R is a 120W LED monolight able to maximize the output power to 136W, deliver 4160 lux at 3.3′, and achieve a higher output of 5120 lux at 3.3′ with an optional reflector. You can get a more powerful, single light source by stacking up to three units together with the separately available COLBOR NQD1 Quick Release Mount Adapter Kit.
360° Color-Adjustable RGB
Featuring a CCT range of 2700 to 6500K, the CL120R’s RGB capability gives the shooter access to the 360° color wheel with all its hue and saturation variations for millions of colors. Light intensity is variable too, from 0 to 100% to match the ambient level or serve as an adjustable key light. The CL120R’s algorithm maintains consistent brightness and full output for all color temperatures.
Green/Magenta Adjustment
The CL120R has a green-to-magenta shift by +/- 10 to match other light sources or to achieve a specific look.
Color-Pick Functionality
The COLBOR Studio app features a handy color-pick function that allows you to match real-life colors. Besides this function, the app has straightforward features for precise and easy color adjustments.
High Color-Accuracy Ratings
The fixture is designed to reveal the original color of the subjects of your shoots for accurate color images. With a CRI of 97, a TLCI of 98, a SSI of 85 at 3200K, a SSI of 75 at 5600K, a TM-30 Rf of 95, and a TM-30 Rg of 102, your footage and images will always be color accurate.
13 Built-In Special Effects
The 13 built-in lighting effects will help you achieve different creative looks. Imitate lighting scenarios that can otherwise be tricky to recreate with fire, spark, CCT chase, pulsing, beacon, TV, party, explosion, faulty bulb, welding, strobe, lightning, and SOS effects.
Matrix Control System for Simultaneous Lighting Adjustment
Each CL120R can work as the controller to others with the integration of the Matrix Control System. Mesh network and 2.4 GHz capabilities allow the fixture to act as a controlling master for a group of lights.
The optional CTRL1 controller allows remote control at distances up to 492′.
Multiple Power Supplies
The light runs on AC power, but it will also run on separately available V-mount batteries for outdoor shooting.
Quiet Fan-Cooled System
The CL120R is cooled by a fan. The fixture can keep a balance between high output and low noise at just 30 dB with a cooling system that protects and extends the LED life.
