Winding the top half of the tripod head clockwise initiates the counterclockwise rotation to start the capturing process. It takes 120 minutes to complete a full 360° rotation. The mechanical timer requires no batteries and can be used as a stand-alone device on a flat surface or mounted on a tripod or camera slider via its 3/8″-16 socket.
